About Me
I'm a Penn State, main campus graduate. I graduated with three degrees: broadcast journalism BA, English BA, and English MA. All of my PSU experiences helped me refine what I love - and what I'm good at.
By the time I graduated, I interned at six companies, including Upright Citizens Brigade & Myriad Pictures in LA and Comedy Central in NY.
I completed a 190 page thesis of short stories and personal essays that I wrote while teaching English for the first time.
I was also nominated for a Teaching Excellence Award and received a 6.54 of 7 overall from my students' surveys.
I executive produced a late-night show and led the show to win the most network awards of any PSNtv show.
I was ranked #7 nationally for Feature Writing by the Hearst Journalism Awards for my Centre County Report packages.
I've published my short stories and essays and continue to write stories, sketches, reflections, and scripts.
All these experiences taught me I'm unafraid of the unknown, of pushing myself beyond my limits to let each project and task reach its maximum potential.
